T&A Exceptions

Exceptions are used to indicate an error or a warning on the timesheets. The exceptions that you select here will be visible in the employees timesheet and in the reports.

Some exceptions prevent the user from completing the timesheet such as “missing entries”. And some exceptions are just warnings, for example, “manual editing”.

For employees

Employees can see exceptions on their timesheet

For managers

Managers can see their employees exceptions either in the timesheets tab using the exceptions filter or in the employees’ timesheet

Type of exceptions

Manually edited entries - Attendance entries that were retroactively edited

Working on a non working day - Attendance entries on a day that is a non working day or a day with a PTO record
