If you allow your employees to carry over unused days from one cycle to the next, here is where you will import this data. Please remember that you can only bulk import carry over from the previous cycle to the current one.
This step can be carried out with the pre-formatted spreadsheet. This sheet can be accessed by going to Time Off > Settings > Update Time Off Data > Update Carryover > and the template will be available once you click on the button.
Once you're armed with a copy of the sheet, you're ready to import carry over data to bob.
Update Carry Over/Balances
Update carry over
Used to import carry over to a chosen holiday policy (usually the holiday policy). You'll need to import carry over separately, as bob won't apply carry over during the import process. Once you're up and running, bob will apply carry over automatically based on the rules you set during policy creation, so potentially you will only need to import carry over once during the implementation.
Note: only 500 records can be uploaded to bob at a time. Please prepare your data files accordingly to allow for a smooth import process.
Populate the mentioned template with the relevant information. Click Update Carry over, drag and drop your file and select the correct sheet. Remember to match your emails. On the next screen, make sure that your columns match with the corresponding fields in bob. Download the report to troubleshoot errors, if any.
Use update balance to grant employees additional days as a one-off action. Please remember that days imported as part of the "update balance" action will be added to their current balance.
