bob’s performance cycle insights takes two scale questions from a performance cycle and maps the results on a grid. This illustrative view can serve as a framework for discussion about the talent in your organization. Using performance mapping, you can collectively identify the strengths and weaknesses in your talent pool and make better informed decisions on your employee development process while providing transparency over the state of your talent across the entire organization.

How to create a performance map in bob

Through bob's performance mapping, you can put any two attributes together that are derived from the manager's form (e.g. potential vs. performance, behavior vs. competencies, etc.), comparing either:

  • Two scale questions against one another,

  • Two categories of questions against one another, or

  • One scale question against a category of questions

Follow these instructions to create your performance map:

  1. Press Talent on the main menu

  2. Click on Manage cycles under Performance

  3. Click on the performance cycle that you'd like to review

  4. Click on the Insights tab at the top left

  5. Click on the dropdown below Manager's form

  6. Select the X axis of the grid:

    1. Scroll or search for a question category (in bold) or a specific question below a question category

    2. Click Apply

  7. Select the Y axis of the grid:

    1. Scroll or search for a question category (in bold, all capital letters) or a specific question below a question category

    2. Click Apply

Great! You can now see your performance map and people table displaying the data.
