Individual goals may be edited and deleted any time after creation.

Note: Access to this capability is managed by your company's HR admin. If you do not have access and believe you should, reach out to them.

How to edit a goal

To edit a goal, follow these steps:

  1. Press the Talent area in the main menu

  2. Click on My Goals

  3. Click on the three dot menu to the right of the goal you wish to edit

  4. Select Edit

5. Enter your objective in the Name field

6. Provide a Description of the objective
7. Click on the field under Time frame to set when you'd like to achieve the goal. Choose from two ways:
a. Preset range:
i. Choose the desired period from the list
Note: "Next year" in bob means the January of the next calendar year
ii. Click Apply
b. Date range
i. Click the radio button to the left of Date range
ii. Click on the field below Start date to select the beginning of your desired date range from the calendar
c. Click on the field below End date to select the end of your desired date range from the calendar
d. Click Apply

8. Select the goal's Visibility by clicking on the radio button to the left of the chosen option

a. Shared visibility: only visible to people in the organization per the permissions set in the company, and may be accessed using People's Goals

b. Personal visibility: can be viewed by the goal's assignee and any other specific roles, e.g. the person's direct manager, per the permissions set in the organization

9. To edit any pre-existing key result(s):
a. Click on the three dot menu to the right of the key result you wish to edit
b. Select Edit
i. Enter your key result in the Name field
ii. Select the way in which the key result will be assessed using the Measure by dropdown:
1. Percentage: to measure the key result out of 100%
2. Numeric: to measure the key result by an amount
a. Enter a Target number
3. Currency: to measure the key result by a specific currency amount
a. Select a currency Type from the dropdown
b. Enter a Target number
4. Complete/Incomplete: to measure the key result by whether it was completed or not
iii. Click Add
ii. Repeat as needed

10. To delete any pre-existing key result(s)

a. Click on the three dot menu to the right of the key result you wish to delete
b. Select Delete
c. Repeat as needed
11. To add a key result, click on the + Add new button in the Key results section
a. Enter your key result in the Name field
b. Select the way in which the key result will be assessed using the Measure by dropdown:

i. Percentage: to measure the key result out of 100%
ii. Numeric: to measure the key result by an amount
1. Enter a Target number
iii. Currency: to measure the key result by a specific currency amount
1. Select a currency Type from the dropdown
2. Enter a Target number
iv. Complete/Incomplete: to measure the key result by whether it was completed or not
c. Click Add
d. Repeat as needed

Note: numeric and currency type measures must be whole numbers of 1 or above

How to delete a goal

Depending on the permissions set in your company, you may delete your individual goals. to do so:

  1. Press the Talent area in the main menu

  2. Click on My Goals

  3. Click on the three dot menu to the right of the goal you wish to edit

  4. Select Delete

  5. Press the Delete button

Note: this action cannot be undone.
