bob's integration with Microsoft Teams means you and your people can get highlights from bob such as daily digests and shoutouts, updates on real-time events, and a command center for quick questions, all in your Teams channels.

Which actions are available?

In MS Teams private conversation:

  1. Clock in and clock out                                                                                                      - Type clockin to clock in                                                                                                - Type clockout to clock out

  2. Request time off or time away from the office                                                                     - Type timeoff to view your current requests                                                          - Press Submit new request to enter your new request details

  3. Approve or decline time off and time away requests

  4. Ask bob questions                                                                                                                  - Type whosout and see everyone who's out today 

     - Type who is followed by a person's name to learn more about a co-worker

     - Type who is the manager of followed by a name to find out who their
       manager is
     - Type who reports to followed by a co-worker's name to learn who their direct
       reports are

  5. Type help to view all of the private conversation commands 


In a Team channel:

 1. Ask bob who's out by typing @bob HR whosout and see everyone from the team who's
    away today

 

Which notifications are available?

  • Start onboarding for new joiners
  • Receive daily digest updates with people’s whereabouts and events
  • See shoutouts and kudos in real-time

Onboarding
Once you've completed setup of bob with Teams, add your new hires to a team channel. When time for onboarding comes around, in addition to the onboarding email sent by bob, they will get a link to start onboarding in the Teams channel as well. 



How to Set Up a Channel Digest

  1. Go to Settings > Integration
  2. Select Microsoft Teams > New channel digest
  3. Under Daily notifications select the types of event-based information you'd like to be pushed to MS Teams
  4. Choose the time and time zone and date format of when you would like the digest to be sent to Teams
  5. Choose who will be included in the digest, either all employees or a select group   - To filter for a select group, mark the radio button next to Filter and add as many filters as you would like by pressing the + button
  6. Choose the channel you want the digest pushed to from the drop down.                  - If your desired channel does not appear in the list, make sure you have added bob HR to that team in MS Teams, for help see this link.                                                 * You can create multiple channel digests and choose different channels to include different information, one for each site if you so choose 
  7. Click Save

Only your system administrator in bob can setup integrations


How to Set Up Kudos/Shoutouts Channel Updates

  1. Go to Settings > Integration
  2. Select Microsoft Teams > New shoutout integration
  3. Choose the Teams channel you want Kudos and Shoutouts pushed to from the drop down list                                                                                                                  - If your desired channel does not appear in the list, make sure you have added bob HR to that team in MS Teams, for help see this link.
  4. Check the box next to Include shoutout for entire company if you'd like all Shoutouts and Kudos sent to the entire company to be pushed to Teams
  5. To push Shoutouts and Kudos sent to specific sites to the channel, select the desired sites from the dropdown
  6. Click Save

Only your system administrator in bob can setup integrations
