Workflows let you automate basic tasks. Which means you spend less time doing those repetitive tasks and more time where it really counts.

Workflows are a collection of tasks (To Do's) which have been grouped and attached to a trigger date. For instance, you may have a set actions which need to be completed when a new employee joins your team.

Check out our default On-Boarding and Off-Boarding workflows to see what this looks like. You can change, add or remove this to suit your needs. Or even create your own from scratch!

bob's To Dos will get you organised and prepared for anything the day throws at you. An online workflow manager that’s flexible enough for you and everyone in your company.

To Dos

The structure of a task (todo) is pretty straight forward. Each task will have a title, due date, and assignees (people to action it). You also have various formatting options when updating the body of a To Do.

Triggering a To Do
In order to set triggers for your workflows, you'll need to select a trigger date for the workflow. This will in turn send off your To Dos to the right place.

My To Dos
Your checklist for all the To Dos you have... to do. Whether you are an admin or a regular user of bob, this is where your own personal To Dos are. When you have finished a To Do you can mark it off as “done” by checking the box next to the To Do. This will then move it to closed To Dos.

You can include a link to a document or an area within bob; it includes actions (like approve reading a document or approving time off). It acts as a reminder to perform a To Do (like buying a computer for new employees).

People To Dos
This view will only be accessible by system Admins but it's essentially an extension of "My To Dos", giving you full oversight on To Dos which are outstanding across the company.

Only system Administrators have access to edit Workflows.
